UNCDF is seeking partners to respond to the increased challenges faced by digital solution providers in the clean cooking sector.

The goal of the challenge is to develop technology solutions to ease access to finance (including from publicly funded output-based finance programs, carbon markets, and commercial credit markets), through both increasing the availability and amount of this financing and reducing the associated costs.

The Digital innovations challenge for clean cooking seeks to support the private sector to discover and test or take to market digitally-enabled products (i.e. monitoring devices), platforms, and services that aim to address failures in the interconnected markets for information, finance, and clean cooking fuels/tools.

This RFA is framed under these 4 proposed main areas of intervention.

Digital services to improve data collection and monitoring. Digital services to improve business processes. Digital services or platforms for carbon finance Digital services or platforms for investors
