Eligibility/Description
We are pleased to announce this call for proposals for the 2021 Innovate4Climate (I4C) Workshops. If you are interested please complete the proposal submission form by March 14, 2021.

Innovate4Climate (I4C) is the WBG’s flagship climate action event that promotes a global dialogue between the public and private sectors, showcasing the opportunities and innovations for low-carbon, resilient development.

Now in its 5th year, I4C’s 2021 edition will be entirely virtual. It will run over 3-days from May 25-27. Each day will include high-level plenary sessions and a Workshop Program, which provides a forum for practitioners to demonstrate how to achieve a resilient and low-carbon future.

The Workshop Program is at the heart of I4C’s knowledge and technical exchange and provides an opportunity for organizations to highlight their most innovative ideas, solutions, and initiatives related to how-to tackle climate change. The content of the program is aligned with I4C four main pillars: finance, markets, policy, and technology.

There is no cost to submit and deliver a workshop, but selected workshop organizers will be responsible for designing the session, coordinating and securing speakers and leading the live session. The I4C team will provide a virtual space to deliver the session, however, it will not support the detailed management of the workshops before or during the event. In addition, selected workshop organizers will receive training before the session and technical support from the event management firm during the session, as would be typical of a physical event setting.

The number of workshop slots available is limited and each workshop will be no longer than 50 minutes in length. Slots will be available to organizations that wish to host workshops that reach audiences in different regions and time zones.
