Contexte
Le déficit énergétique structurel et croissant auquel la Tunisie est confrontée depuis le début des années 2000 a conduit les pouvoirs publics à intensifier leur politique de maîtrise de l’énergie, avec ses deux piliers : amélioration de l’efficacité énergétique et augmentation de la part des énergies renouvelables dans le mix énergétique.
La stratégie nationale de transition énergétique, visant à réduire l’intensité carbone de l’économie nationale de 41% en 2030, apporte un vrai changement qui va contribuer à faire face à la raréfaction des ressources fossiles du pays et à l’augmentation de ses besoins en énergie. Cette stratégie repose notamment sur le Plan Solaire Tunisien (PST) qui ambitionne de porter la part des énergies renouvelables dans la production d’électricité à 30% en 2030.
Au sein de cette transition énergétique, peu de dispositifs spécifiques ont été mis en place pour inciter l’intégration des femmes dans ce secteur alors que les disparités entre hommes et femmes dans les métiers de l’énergie restent élevées.
Dans ce contexte que la GIZ et l’Agence Nationale pour la Maîtrise de l’Energie (ANME) mettent en oeuvre le projet « Promotion du rôle de la femme dans le secteur de l’énergie en Tunisie ».

Objectif :
Le projet PFE vise l’intégration de la dimension du GENRE dans le secteur de la maîtrise de l’énergie en Tunisie.
Le projet a pour objectif de renforcer la place des femmes dans le développement du secteur des énergies renouvelables et de l’efficacité énergétique en Tunisie et d’envisager des actions ciblées afin de sensibiliser les acteurs principaux du secteur sur la question du genre et l’importance de l’égalité entre hommes et femmes.
Il s'agit d'une mesure rattachée au projet Renforcement du marché solaire RMS et appuyée par le projet régional Promotion du rôle de la femme au Maghreb (PFM).
