|Pub Abstract=1.1.1 The Kenya Agricultural Productivity and Agribusiness Project (KAPAP) is among Kenya Government actions that seek to fulfil the promises of the Agricultural Sector Development Strategy (ASDS 2010-2020). ASDS defines the agricultural sector objectives, and is part of the Government’s long-term national development plan – Vision 2030 in which the Government has established ambitious targets for scaling up electrification. KAPAP’s ultimate goal is enhancement of agricultural productivity by contributing to the engineering of an innovative, commercially oriented and modern agricultural sector. Abstract

ASDS defines the agricultural sector objectives, and is part of the Government’s long-term national development plan – Vision 2030 in which the Government has established ambitious targets for scaling up electrification. KAPAP’s ultimate goal is enhancement of agricultural productivity by contributing to the engineering of an innovative, commercially oriented and modern agricultural sector. KAPAP is being implemented over the 5-year period of 2010 to 2014.
