Abstract
The solar-powered irrigation solutions for horticulture outlined in this manual describe systems in which water is extracted from its source and delivered, by solar-powered mechanized systems, into an overhead storage tank and then distributed via gravity to crops either with sprinkler or drip irrigation. The manual will follow the process outlined below for planning and feasibility, technical assessment, design,installation, technical operation and maintenance.
