Description
These implementation guidelines are intended to discuss what creative options are already available in Afghanistan and how to implement these creative solutions. This is already the second version of this important manual (the first was by Manoj K. Khadka in 2011). As worldwide technology for providing electricity to rural areas increases, MRRD hopes to not only implement these solutions and to increase the capability of the people of Afghanistan, but eventually to become a worldwide leader in providing electricity to some of the most remote and difficult to reach geographic locations in the world. This is not intended to be the final version of this manual, but to serve as a general standard of where we are at today so current projects and upcoming projects can have a consistent process and outcome.
