2. The individual consulting services (“the Services”) include provision of technical assistance to the Project Implementation Unit on prevention, mitigation, and response to risks of GBV, and especially risks of SEA and SH, and gender responsive activities related to the Green Energy Corridor Project in a full-time based contract on project site (Tete Province – Songo District) for a period of 64 months, expected to start in September 2025.

4. The Electricidade de Moçambique E.P., now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the Services. Interested Individual Consultants should provide CV’s with information demonstrating they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: (i) at least degree in in Sociology, Social Work, gender studies or any related discipline; (ii) minimum 5 years of experience in managing the implementation of GBV prevention and response programmes, including prevention of SEA/SH, in public participation, stakeholder engagement and communication. (iii) experience in the SADC region (at least two (2) contract) and having implemented a related program in Mozambique will constitute an advantage, Information shall be attached as supporting documentation to the expression of interest.
5. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
6. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
