Summary

Description
English: The non-intervention scenario based on Gschrey et al. 2011 reflects the business-as-usual emission development until 2050, extrapolating historical and current technological developments. No additional targeted policy intervention to reduce emissions is assumed. All existing measures continue and emission rates, recovery rates and common practices remain unchanged. The intervention scenario is based on assumptions of potential additional policies and measures to control future emissions.
