Third German-Tunisian Energy Day
Overview
The Third German-Tunisian Energy Day (Energy Transition – First Results, Future Commitments) (French: "Troisième Journée Tuniso-Allemande de l’Energie – Transition énergétique : Premiers Résultats et Futurs Engagements"; German: "Dritter Deutsch-tunesischer Energietag – Energiewende: Erste Ergebnisse und zukünftige Aufgaben") was a conference on 26 november 2013 in Tunis within the framework of the German-Tunisian Energy Partnership, under the patronage of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry (Department of Energy (DGE)), the German Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi) and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU).
The Energy Day was inaugurated by Mr Rachid Ben Daly, Director General of Energy at the Tunisian Ministry of Industry and H.E. Jens Plötner, German Ambassador to Tunis. Participants included nearly one hundred energy experts, entrepreneurs and decision makers from Tunisia and Germany.
The Energy Day was organised and planned by the Secretariat of the German-Tunisian Energy Partnership, powered by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
