All orders are governed by the terms and conditions stated hereinafter. Acceptance of any modifications of these terms shall be subject to energypedia consult GmbH (the service provider) prior written agreement. By sending his/her order, the subscriber accepts these terms unless he/she sends a cancellation within a period of seven days after the date of the signing/stamping of the order note, after which the contract will come into force. To be effective, the cancellation must be given in writing.
The companies listed in this database are subscribed to the directory via an annual fee (see Price and Billing) and have no influence on the content published in energypedia.info whatsoever. This directory approach helps energypedia in its funding to keep it running as a free independent platform.
As the company directory is meant for companies in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency, applications coming from other economic branches may be rejected.

- energypedia consult GmbH will only use the data of companies listed in the Directory for services related to the directory.
Termination of the contract
The inclusion into the database of the energypedia company directory is granted for one year and will be automatically extended every year for another year, unless specific written notice is received by the service provider or the subscriber two months before the expiration of the contract. This contract shall come into force seven days after the day the subscriber has signed the order and shall end one year thereafter.
Price and Billing
On the one hand, the energypedia company directory is a source of income for energypedia non-profit and on the other hand, energypedia has its roots in the field of international development cooperation and we want to support companies from so-called developing countries to promote their products and services. Therefore, we decided to offer this service on an voluntary payment approach.
Profile Editing
Only energypedia consult staff is entitled to update company profiles and may be requested by the companies to do so any time. energypedia consult staff can contact companies on a regular basis to ask for profile updates. energypedia consult reserves the right to delete a profile if a company violates the terms of use hereby established. Updating the profile is free of charge, but should not be requested more than four times a year.
Advertising
Other energypedia.info articles (besides the own company profile) must not be used for promotional and advertisement purposes. Articles considered advertisements include those that are solicitations for a business, product or service, or are public relations pieces designed to promote a company or individual. When an article on an otherwise encyclopedic topic has the tone of an advertisement, the article can often be salvaged by rewriting it in a neutral point of view. Elements of articles about products or services with brand names can also be combined under a common topic or category to facilitate unbiased and collaborative information by including information about the competition and about different alternatives. In severe cases, particularly in the event of repetitive violation, energypedia and energypedia consult reserve the right to delete articles and block the respective company profile. Other Legal Issues
- The service provider is not liable for damages caused by any technical or other failure arising in the database of the energypedia company directory or any technical failure of the database of the energypedia company directory. The service provider is not liable for damages caused by any error in the database of the energypedia company directory.
- In order to be effective, all undertakings notified verbally to the service provider's employees must be necessarily confirmed in writing.
- The place of jurisdiction in any dispute arising is the service provider's address.
- The agreement between the service provider and the subscriber is governed by the law of the juridical seat of the service provider: Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
