Applied research and innovative business roll-outs play a key role in boosting this development.

Aiming to foster research cooperation on renewable between Africa and Europe – both in academia, private and public sector - the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP) and the National University of Lesotho are jointly organising RERIS 2018, addressing topics such as grid connected RE, decentralised energy and household energy solutions.
