GHACCO is a vibrant clean cookstoves sector, where actors influence policies and actions to promote adequate access to clean cook stoves, clean fuels and efficient utilization of biomass. Since its formalisation in March 2013, the Ghana Alliance for Clean Cookstoves and Fuels (GhACCO), has remained the only association representing producers, distributors and promoters of clean cookstoves and fuels in Ghana.Through the years to date, GHACCO has been in the forefront of creating public awareness.

Key Activities

i. To support the development of a thriving national market for clean cook stoves and fuels.

ii. To strengthen coordination and information sharing among members, state and non-state actors. iii. To create a platform for enhancing capacity development of members and promoting best practices in the clean cookstoves and fuels sector. iv. To mobilize resources for actors in the sector to upscale the production and distribution of clean cookstoves and fuels.

v. To create a collective voice for actors in the clean cookstoves and fuels sector in engaging with State and international partners on matters of common interest.
