Project description
The University of Hohenheim developed a Solar Milk Cooling System (SMCS), which allows to store and cool around 40 liters of milk daily. Based on pilot projects, which have been realized in Siaya county in West Kenya, the viability of the system was analyzed and a business model developed, which was implemented in demonstration projects in the Kakamega and Bungoma counties of Kenya.
