Abstract	See Annex 9: Economic and Financial Analysis The economic and financial performance of the project depends primarily on two major factors: (i)quality of BEEF’S design as financial facility; and (ii)quality of the project portfolio. As long as the financial facility is well functioning and supports profitable investments, BEFF will have a high impact in terms of energy savings and associated GHG emission reductions. Leveraging large volumes of co-financing will boost the project’s performance, as it will increase the volume of GHG emission reductions per dollar of seed capital provided by GEF.
