For more than a decade now, the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand has been successfully organizing the ICUE conference series in every two years. The 2024 edition will focus more on sustainability issues and how best different forms of energy can be harnessed towards a sustainable green growth aiming for a net-zero climate future. Thus, the International Conference on sUstainable Energy 2024 (ICUE 2024) on Energy Transition and Net-Zero Climate Future will be geared to be a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. ICUE 2024 will aspire to be a catalyst for positive change by enhancing awareness and understanding of the importance of achieving a net-zero climate future. It is envisioned to help accelerate the transition to a sustainable ecosystem for healthier generations to come. ICUE 2024 will aim to:
  • Promote Sustainable Practices: ICUE 2024 will highlight sustainable energy solutions, green technologies, and best practices in various sectors, including energy utilization in industries, manufacturing, transportation, urban development, households, and agriculture.
  • Foster Awareness and Education: ICUE 2024 intends to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, academics, researchers, and advocates to share insights, research findings, and real-world experiences.
  • Facilitate Collaboration: Collaboration is key to addressing climate change and achieving a net-zero future. ICUE 2024 will be a platform for stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to connect, share ideas, and forge partnerships among diverse stakeholders that can drive progress towards sustainability.
  • Support Policy Initiatives: The central role of government policies in guiding the transition to a netzero carbon economy is paramount. Therefore, ICUE 2024 will also be an avenue for policy discussions, exploring effective ways to implement and enforce regulations that support sustainable practices and encourage community engagements.
