Description
This webinar series will take a look at critical dimensions of feminist climate justice, including time poverty and unpaid care, climate finance, urban planning and nature‑based solutions, drawing on original research conducted across regions. Held on the eve of World Environment Day and in the lead-up to the SB sessions in Bonn, this first session will feature Sarah Gammage and Cecilia Gichner (The Nature Conservancy), who will present findings from their forthcoming paper Invisible Burdens: Gender, Time and Climate Poverty in Guatemala. Drawing on innovative geospatial and time-use data, the authors will walk participants through the paper’s key findings and results, highlighting how climate change deepens time poverty and unpaid care burdens for women and girls.
