Last mile distribution companies (LMDs) and micro-finance institutions (MFIs) are well-suited to working together to provide loans that enable last mile consumers to purchase beneficial household products. But how can partners make the most of these collaborations and what are some best practices to implement?
This webinar, brought to you by the Global Distributors Collective (GDC) and Power Africa, will explore lessons learned around LMD-MFI partnerships; sharing insights from GDC members' first-hand experiences of working with MFIs in different contexts, as well as best practices and recommendations from Power Africa's latest, practical guide on this topic (see link below).
All companies currently working with MFIs or interested in doing so are welcome to join this webinar, but please note that the Power Africa guide and examples discussed will be most relevant for those selling off-grid solar products. Non-GDC member stakeholders are also welcome; particularly those representing or collaborating with MFIs or local banks.
