Knowledge fuels change - Support energypedia!
For over 10 years, energypedia has been connecting energy experts around the world — helping them share knowledge, learn from each other, and accelerate the global energy transition.
Today, we ask for your support to keep this platform free and accessible to all.
Even a small contribution makes a big difference! If just 10–20% of our 60,000+ monthly visitors donated the equivalent of a cup of coffee — €5 — Energypedia would be fully funded for a whole year.
Is the knowledge you’ve gained through Energypedia this year worth €5 or more?
Your donation keeps the platform running, helps us create new knowledge products, and contributes directly to achieving SDG 7.
Thank you for your support, your donation, big or small, truly matters!

As the UK transitions to a smarter, more flexible and consumer-led energy system, digital infrastructure is a vital enabler.
Rapid innovation is underway- from next-generation smart meters and fibre broadband integration to interoperable platforms and digitally connected assets. These developments hold the key to unlocking demand-side flexibility, enhancing grid visibility and empowering consumers.
Despite momentum however, current efforts remain fragmented. A lack of shared standards, coordinated oversight and infrastructure gaps are hampering progress.
Join Laura Sandys CBE, Chair of the Green Alliance and a leading voice on energy system transformation, alongside key stakeholders from government, regulation, industry and innovation, as we explore how to accelerate the development of a coherent digital grid that delivers value, usability and resilience.
Speakers will explore:
- What would a truly integrated digital energy infrastructure look like for the UK?
- How can smart meter connectivity be future-proofed at scale?
- What governance frameworks are needed to unlock open yet secure energy data sharing?
- What can the UK learn and apply from international models of digital energy design?
