Join us on 10 and 11 October 2023 online for a comprehensive look at how Green Cooling solutions can help reduce food waste, improve food security, enhance medical cold chains, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

The event is jointly organized by the German Environment Agency (UBA) and GIZ Proklima on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

This year's focus: Green Cooling along the Cold Chain The Green Cooling Summit will feature a diverse range of experts from industry, academia, and government who will share their insights and experiences on how to promote Green Cooling solutions along the cold chain. Green Cooling refers to the combination of natural refrigerants that harm neither the ozone layer nor the climate and highly energy-efficient systems that are ideally powered by electricity from renewable energy sources. From net-zero emission solutions for transport refrigeration to smart stationary refrigeration solutions, we will explore the latest technologies and best practices that can help make the cold chain more sustainable and climate-friendly.
