Description

This is the 2nd year that SEforALL, with the support of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and other sponsors, will host a Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) Pavilion at COP, taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 7 – 18 November.

The SDG7 Pavilion will once again be the main hub at COP for discussing and showcasing how to unite global efforts on energy, climate and development.

At the Pavilion, SEforALL and its partners will:

​Engage – With leading decision makers from governments, businesses, financial institutions, philanthropy, tech, developers, youth and civil society groups.​

Inspire – By showcasing initiatives, elevating best practices and making announcements on new partnerships aimed at financing just energy transitions in countries with energy access deficits.​

Elevate – Energy access and energy transition in the global climate discourse to ensure that, at this critical juncture, 2030 goals are at the forefront of climate action.

We will host global leaders, including Heads of State, for engaging sessions covering topics of utmost importance to a just and equitable energy transition. Please see the full event programme (coming soon) for our Theme Days and individual session topics.

The SDG7 Pavilion will be in the Blue Zone at COP27 and accessible to everyone with accreditation for this area. The sessions will also be streamed live to a global audience.
