The Annual Africa ESG /Impact Investing & Sustainable Finance Summit- East Africa Forum 2022 will be held on the 29th& 30th November 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya. The continental summit with regional forums is in its 4th year and we have just successfully hosted the Southern Africa edition in May at the Mdluli Safari lodge, Kruger National Park, South Africa. The summit which is part of our Africa series brings together key stakeholders in the ESG / Impact investing & Sustainable Finance space with a key focus on Impact Investing, Sustainability, Green Finance and Climate change. Coming in the backdrop of COP26, the summit will address critical and necessary interventions that investors, asset owners and managers, regulators and policy makers will need to deploy towards achieving the UN sustainable development goals as well as to mitigate against climate related risks.
The summit will also explore the role of Institutional Investors, Financial services providers, Foundations and charities plus NPOs, regulators, asset owners and managers in impact investing across the African continent and will examine critical approaches and strategies towards climate action and social impact. The 2022 regional forums will hosted in South Africa (hosted in May 2022 ) Nairobi (Oct 22) and Nigeria (Dec 22).
