Last Update:

According to an official communiqué of June 30, 2008 (→ Appendix A2), the Minister of Industry and Trade is adjusting the prices of fuels. Following this communiqué, the council of ministers has to approve the proposal of changed fuel prices.

The information presented on the official government and ministry websites is very poor in general. In particular, there is no information concerning fuel prices and fuel pricing mechanism at all.

According to an internet article (→ Appendix A1), the prices for fuels are updated monthly by the government / the minister, “taking into account the price of crude oil on the internaitonal market”. The article also states, that there is a notable problem with illegal operators.
