Job description
BRIDGE (Building Rural Income through inclusive Dairy business Growth in Ethiopia) is a five year project, implemented in five dairy clusters of the four regions in Ethiopia: Oromia, Amhara, SNNPR and Tigray. The project targets 120,000 dairy farmers and aims at contributing to the impact result “improved dairy sector performance in Ethiopia” through achieving the following outcomes: improved milk production; improved dairy markets (in- and output); improved nutrition and improved enabling environment. Action research activities implemented by WUR team mainly design to give support for BRIDGE implementation by bringing innovations. Thus, an intern dairy research assistant in dairy cattle research project is required to play key role in action research initiatives and contribute to the achievement of action research objectives in BRIDGE project.
