Eligibility/Description
The incubation and mentoring program called “Greenovations Africa - 2023” is part of the Greenovations project´s strategy to build capacities of young and women African innovators and entrepreneurs in the green sector with tailor-made support, mentorship, as well as seed grant funding to bring their innovations to market and scale in the green sector. it is implemented by the consortium of partners including AfriLabs, VC4A, RCC Kampala, the Pan African University Institute for Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) and led by the United Nations University - VIE


Applicant profile in consideration:

• Be a young African aged below 35 old, holding a passport of one of the member countries of the African Union.* • Be based in one or more countries on the African continent. • Have an innovative green business in an early stage of development. ** • Be digitally literate (use the internet, computer, etc.). • Be fluent in English. • Have an innovation in the following sector: o Smart agriculture o Renewable energy o Waste management o Water management o Climate action.

  • Young African women are particularly encouraged to apply.
    • The stage of your product must be any of these or ahead of the below:

• Product development and prototyping • Testing and validation

• Go-to-market strategy.
