Abstract
Clean cooking has largely been overlooked in food policy dialogues and interventions, yet proactively addressing the interconnected challenges of clean cooking access and food security is key to building sustainable and resilient food systems. “Clean Cooking as a Catalyst for Sustainable Food Systems” highlights the key role that clean cooking plays in transforming the food system by mitigating climate change and environmental degradation, supporting restoration and climate-smart agriculture, building resilience in agricultural communities, and improving nutrition and food security.
