Abstract
This Efficiency for Access Research and Development Fund project, with Devidayal Solar Solutions, aimed to create a decentralised renewable energy cooling solution, in the form of a truck-mounted, solar-powered DC refrigerator. The refrigerator is easy to transport and allows microentrepreneurs to keep produce cool as they travel. This helps to increase their income and reduce the amount of electricity used.
