Abstract
The assessment reviewed energy sector operations approved by the WBG from 2017 to 2020 in the top 5 energy access deficit countries: Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, India, Pakistan, and Ethiopia. In 2018, these 5 countries accounted for 43% (338 million people) of the global population without access to electricity.
