Job description
Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) is looking for a qualified and motivated researcher to fill 1 position within the Research Programme on Technologies for the Energy Transition (TET). The program aims at studying and analyzing the enabling regulatory, market and financial conditions for the adoption and penetration of low-carbon technologies and for a successful transition towards net-zero by 2050. The candidate will work within the team that manages the European Power Market Model, a structural model of European power markets that allows both short-term and long-term simulations of the evolution of European power markets under different technological and regulatory scenarios. The model allows the testing of alternative market designs and it has been used to inform policy-makers during the current energy crisis. The candidate will also support the team that is currently developing the global gas model, which will ultimately be integrated with the European Power Market Model.
