I will present the three basic ways of harnessing solar energy: bioclimatic architecture, thermal solar energy and photovoltaic solar energy. Learn more about each below.

The aim of bioclimatic architecture is to make the best possible use of natural resources, including energy from the sun. Designers seek to integrate resources with the building and environments. This happens through smart projects focused on sustainability.

In this way, the construction takes advantage of the natural conditions of the surroundings. This can occur, for example, through photovoltaic systems to generate electricity, as well as by taking advantage of natural lighting.

Natural light can be well used during the day, dispensing with the need for artificial lighting through lamps. There are also systems that reflect sunlight out of the environment, lowering the temperature. Thus, it is not necessary to use fans or air conditioning.

Use of thermal solar energy

Solar thermal energy uses solar heat to get heat through collectors or other methods. It is a method widely used to heat water in properties, whether residential or business, such as inns, hotels, clubs, parks, gyms, physiotherapy clinics.

Use of photovoltaic solar energy

The photovoltaic system is the most efficient method to capture solar energy . The energy potential is greater from photovoltaics. Among its advantages, we can mention:
